HTX is the first of its kind science and technology agency in the world to bring together science and engineering capabilities across the home team departments to transform the homeland security landscape and keep Singapore safe. Responsibilities Incident Response & Escalation - Evaluate possible security incidents and escalate them to the appropriate Home Team Departments if necessary - Investigate and analyze reported incidents (phishing emails, suspicious websites, network intrusions) - Triage and escalate incidents to appropriate authorities or teams based on severity and impact Threat Intelligence & Monitoring - Examine and report on malicious phishing emails - Actively oversee government websites for signs of tampering or unauthorized changes - Monitor and analyze emerging cyber threats, including phishing campaigns, fake government websites, and suspicious online activity - Track and escalate significant security-related discussions or trends - Analyze network activity and security logs for suspicious behavior and anomalies Security Operations - Conduct scans for Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) to identify signs of cyberattacks - Implement and maintain security measures (intrusion detection systems, firewalls) - Patch vulnerabilities and conduct regular security assessments Forensics & Investigation - Conduct in-depth investigations of cyber incidents to identify root causes and gather evidence Incident Communication & Reporting - Draft and archive incident reports and communication materials Automation & Workflow Improvement - Develop and upkeep automation scripts to improve operational workflow efficiency Cyber Security Training & Awareness - Develop and deliver monthly training presentations and quizzes for NSF (National Service Full-time) to enhance cyber security knowledge and skills
Responsibilities Led and Guided T1 Analysts - Supervised daily operations, providing direction and support to T1 Analysts at HTSC. Knowledge Sharing & Training - Conducted knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the awareness, coordination, productivity, and capabilities of T1 Analysts. Collaboration with External Contractors - Worked closely with external contractors to resolve operational issues and implement solutions that improved T1 performance. Administrative Oversight - Managed administrative tasks for T1 Analysts, including processing leave requests and updating work schedules to ensure smooth operations. Event Coordination - Facilitated the successful launch of the Home Team Sustainment Centre (HTSC) on 26 August 2025, ensuring smooth coordination and operations for this first-of-its-kind facility, monitoring Home Team assets to safeguard public safety - Served as the primary point of contact for T1 Analysts event updates, collaborating with HTSC Management and the MHA Human Resource Department to ensure effective communication and planning. In Charge of Projects - Led and executed projects using a range of tools and technologies tailored to project needs, including Tableau, Power BI, and UiPath for automation and analytics, as well as AI frameworks (e.g. Ollama) and full-stack development tools such as Flask, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web-based AI applications. Hackathon Representation - Represented HTX at HacX! Hack for Public Safety 2025 (co-organised by HTX, Microsoft, and SUTD), developing an unsupervised AI-driven anomaly detection system leveraging Feedforward Autoencoders and Isolation Forests to identify anomalous patterns in high-volume cybersecurity datasets and simulate real-world Incident Response (IR) triage workflows.

NYP Bowling Team started with the aim of guiding and training students who are keen in bowling. The team has more than 35 members currently and trains at Home TeamNS (Khatib) weekly. The team will train bi-weekly before the start of the annual POL-ITE Competition and selected students will get to represent NYP. NYP Bowling Team welcomes all students who have a passion in bowling and a willing-to-learn attitude to join us.
As the Vice-President of Bowling Club, I assist the President in leading the committee member and planning any CCA events like CCA training days, Bonding Session.
