Construction Site Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in supervision, installation, coordination, and testing of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems. Additionally, possess 4 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the Hotel, with strong skills in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.
• Taking off quantities, obtaining quotations from subcontractors and supplier. • Provide estimates and evaluate costing to achieve competitive costing for tender submission. • Estimate, develop & manage construction schedule, method of statement, and temporary plan.
• Manage and oversee M&E installation projects on site. • Control the progress of RFA, RFI, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions, and Equipment/Materials. • Coordinate and collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks on M&E installations. • Prepare and submit progress reports to project management. • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of M&E works. • Lead installation team to carry out solar panel installation works which include installation of solar panels on the roof, installation of solar PV inverter and connection to the existing electrical switchboard.
• Monitor and manage project progress according to schedules. • Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during M&E works. • Prepare and submit progress reports to project management. • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of M&E works. • Review and ensure proper submissions from sub-contractors. • Supervise and liaise closely with consultants, sub-contractors, and site operation team. • Plan and coordinate M&E and civil structure work to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Quantity taking-off and cost estimation for tendering of projects • Coordinating site issues with other related departments. • Inspection, testing & commissioning with consultants/main con. • To supervise, inspect, coordinate and control all site work activities. • Provide and maintain all site inspection records & T&C records up to date.
Troubleshoot and repair hotel equipment, facilities, and systems including HVAC, Water treatment and waste water treatment, GYM Room, Stream & Sauna room, Jucuzzi and Electrical system Planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance. Supervising contractors, and engineering and technical staff.
