As the leader of a team of 5, I spearheaded the development of finance and ads domains. Achieved successful Agile integration through Kanban, mentoring, one-to-ones, retrospectives, and new developer interviews. Managed tasks planning, feature releases, and code reviews while maintaining code best practices. Additionally, I played a key role in consulting product owners and customers. My notable achievements include: • Provided vertical sharding of monolith main MySQL, splitting it into two instances – a financial shard and main shard. This measure significantly preserved the performance of the project, ensuring its continued functionality and operational efficiency. Also, this move opened up new architectural possibilities for future development. • Led the development of "Instant Payout", a financial scoring app in collaboration with a Machine Learning specialist. • Established a deep integration with the Aliexpress partnership API. • Led the support of a highly available distributed tracking service, which is critical to the company's business. • Built a strong team, grooming a successor to the lead position.
Fully developed different parts of the project, from ads instruments to financial systems, maintaining close collaboration with product owners and customers. Tasks included development of new features, legacy support, third-party API’s integrations, researches, etc. My notable achievements include: • Implementing of a brand-new money withdrawal system for Admitad. A tool to allow users to withdraw money from their balances into third-party systems like Payoneer, PayPal, Webmoney, cards, etc. Currency conversion allowed, system commission for withdrawal, different withdrawal scenarios depending on various parameters like user country, user payment information, personal withdrawal conditions, etc. • Development of a user and system balance system for a project, covering functionalities such as money transfers between balances, currency conversions, money deposits and financial monitoring. • Establishing both internal and external accounting systems. • Development of a system of deducting penalties from Admitad users. • Creating of an appeal system for declined affiliate orders for Admitad users. • Contributing to the core functionalities of the affiliate network, including a custom commission service, bonuses system, and an action/tariff system. • Implemented a “service-layer” coding standard across all development teams at Admitad.
