Charly Berthod obtained his doctoral degree on the experimental study of the temperature coefficients of multicrystalline compensated silicon solar cells. He worked as a Postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Agder for two more years. He is now working in Greenstat Energy AS as CTO for solar energy for utility-scale solar parks and rooftop installations.
ENTERS is a new research group on circular economy. It has strong competences in mechatronics, renewable energy, ICT, coastal science.
In the framework of the PRINCESS project (Performance and Reliability IN Compensated Elkem Solar Silicon), I am studying the temperature sensitivity of solar cells made of compensated silicon.
I studied the temperature coefficients of multicrystalline silicon solar cells made from compensated silicon (especially UMG-Si like ESS™).
