Over the years I have worked for a range of marketing agencies, on event, digital, print and film projects, with a specialism in event management. I can manage a project from conception to completion or alternatively work on individual elements as needed, such as project planning, scheduling, budget tracking, resource management, delegate registration or onsite logistics. I have extensive pharmaceutical event experience including investigator meetings and congresses. Clients include Roche, Novo Nordisk, Jaguar Land Rover, Idorsia, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Haagen-Dazs, Rolls Royce, Statoil, BP, Santander and Tesla.

Cable & Wireless is a leading international telecommunications company, with customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities: • To organise the production of new product and marketing documents, including brochures, case studies and white papers, ensuring they were in line with the marketing plan and on brand • To work as part of product development teams, with responsibility for organising the product launch • To develop and maintain the relationships with Marketing Agencies and Freelance Copywriters. When I joined, the company had over 50 marketing agencies on their books; therefore one of my first tasks was to complete an agency review. Creating Sunshine manages Live Events, Conferences, Product Launches, Videos, Exhibitions and Road Shows on behalf of clients, including St James’s Place and Churchill Insurance. I joined the company on a six-month maternity cover contract. Key Responsibilities: • Producing and managing events, including team building workshops, an AGM and a gala dinner • Responsible for establishing and maintaining client relations, sourcing and negotiating with venues, liasing with suppliers and other agencies, video production, speaker support and onsite management • Producing and maintaining a production report and onsite schedule for each event • Establishing and monitoring budgets, ranging from £70k - £400k
In April 05 the contract to run the National Strategies on behalf of Department for Education and Skills, was passed from CfBT to Capita - one of the UK’s leading professional and support services organisation. Key responsibilities: • Managed a team of six Event Co-ordinators, monitoring the status of their events; identifying issues, conducting risk assessments, managing the impact of change and providing guidance • Personally project managing the highest profile events from initial brief through to event review; ranging from 1 day meetings for 10 VIPs to a national conference for over 1000 delegates • Developing and maintaining good working relationships with clients and key decision makers • Budget management, including forecasting, monitoring, revising and reporting (budgets up to £1.4m) • Line management including recruitment, induction, appraisals and dealing with personnel issues
