- Led the marketing and press campaign for Deafinitely Theatre’s The Promise at the Lyric. Exceeded financial target by 66.8%, utilising only 60% of allocated budget. Developed the Lyric’s deaf/ BSL-using audiences. - Responsible for the development and execution of all Main House show programmes, including writing and formatting biographies, managing advertisements both paid and reciprocal, and sourcing external written pieces to enhance the programmes. - Assisted the planning and delivery of artwork photoshoots, working proactively with both colleagues and creative teams.
Led a society with over 200 members, further developed my leadership and delegation skills managing a 9-person committee. Responsible for overseeing an annual budget of £30,000 and ensuring the financial stability and longevity of the society. Provided and negotiated budgets for theatre productions across Cambridge, London and Edinburgh. Main Achievements -Developed the society’s Gala night into a two-night run; successfully producing and directing a team of over 75 people. Delivering a gross of over £4,000, with a total profit of £1,600. -Sat on the ADC Theatre’s show selection panel for a year, providing vital input into the theatre’s season programming. -Organised the society’s 25th Anniversary dinner for almost 100 guests, negotiated and liaised with multiple venues and promoted outreach to alumni.
Reflected the views and welfare concerns of a student body of over 600 people to college staff. Dealt with sensitive issues empathetically and strove to enact change at college level. Main Achievements -Worked collaboratively with a committee of over 20 people, leading a sub- committee of 7 people. -Sat on the interview panel for the appointment of the college’s new ‘Head of Welfare’ role, voicing a student perspective to college staff.
