I built and grew all aspects of Talent and the employee experience across the organisation virtually from scratch. This included full responsibility for Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Internal Communications, Reward, Retention, OD, Succession Planning and Strategic Workforce Planning. In addition, my role led on P&C Strategy definition, culture and EDI.

Its heritage encompassed the capability of Nexmo, TokBox and New Voice Media, supporting a customer base that includes WhatsApp, AirBnB and Uber. Rebuilt and scaled up the TA function from both a people and process perspective, to support rapid growth of the business across a range of functions, including S/w Engineering, Product and Business Operations, hiring and leading a sizeable, globally-dispersed team. Proud to have built a team that delivered all 2020 hiring requirements to support a 1000 employee base, by the end of H1, well in advance of target. This was delivered in ultra-competitive tech markets, including London, San Francisco, Barcelona and Tel Aviv, with a very high bar set for talent. In addition, this was achieved while managing through the Covid-19 pandemic and seamlessly moving to full remote working, interviewing and on-boarding.

SG Digital almost doubled in size in 18 months & grew to more than 1,750 individuals across the globe in 34 locations, driven by the creative talent of 7 game studios, 7 highly skilled technology development centres across the globe, expanding product technology and its proven robust sportsbook platform. During 2018, the global TA team successfully identified and brought in over 450 new associates, faciliated over 100 internal moves and delivered the first major European Graduate programme. This all in the context of acquisition by Scientific Games and subsequent integration, rebranding and relaunch.

Grew and developed the structure, organisation and processes to support this and doubled productivity. Working with executive team to support 50% growth in global head count in 2018.
