I recently graduated from Rush Medical College and will be starting as an Obstetrics and Gynecology resident physician at NYU Langone Health. My path to medicine has been shaped by a strong foundation in public health, with a focus on health equity, reproductive justice, and advocacy. I earned my Master of Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health, where I concentrated in Health Policy and Law and Global Health. I am especially interested in the intersection of clinical care, policy, and education, and how these spaces can be leveraged to improve outcomes for women and underserved communities. Always happy to connect.
I am excited to rejoin the Center for Health Equity, Education, and Research (CHEER) as a Consultant for their collaboration with the CDC. The program will improve maternity care practices for breastfeeding in 100 hospitals across the country and aims to decrease racial inequities in breastfeeding rates.
Currently a research assistant for the BMC Department of Pediatrics Center for Health Equity, Education, and Research (CHEER). Focusing on racial inequities regarding breastfeeding, community partner initiatives, working with Mississippi Communities and Hospitals Advancing Maternity Practices (CHAMPS), and data collection and analysis.
