I am an apprentice currently working in Schroders investment solutions division. My role is within LDI (liability driven investments), where we hedge clients’ liabilities using various gilt edged instruments and derivatives (such as gilt repos and interest rate swaps) to reduce both interest and inflation risk for DB pension schemes . I have recently finished A-levels achieving A*A*A in Economics,Business and Geography as well work experience with Barclays. I co-founded a business when I was younger which taught me useful lessons in financial and business management.
