    Consulting role based within the UK Design Team (UKDT) in Government and Transport. Focussing on using service design methodologies and principles to lead the service design aspects of government and private sector contracts across a multitude of departments and areas. - Lead the service design aspects of all issued projects, crafting and generating bespoke artefacts for our clients that created meaningful change and ensuring we were solving the right problems. - Leading on all projects for the Digital Services Standards Scotland (DSSS) and Government Digital Service Standards (GDS). - Experienced in the agile method of delivery, creating product delivery schedules in sprint format, allowing for the developed content to be easily digestible for our clients. - Lead the User Research aspects of all issued projects, scheduling all User Research interviews and focus groups, facilitating interviews, taking notes and creating insights based on gathered information using research synthesis techniques. - Hosting various skills share sessions; Facilitating online, reflecting on practice, turning turtle: how to reflect when things go wrong, creating inclusive practices in our design process. - Leading on the Service Design in Action Sessions. Running weekly workshops on various Service Design tools, processes and methodologies to help share knowledge within the service design team. - UKDT onboarding Champion. Redesigned the onboarding process for the UKDT responsible for the onboarding of all new members of the team. Responsible for the Researcher Development Framework (RDF), The Concordat for the Career Development of Research Staff as well as various senior committees. Working cross-institutional with various units to develop and drive enhancement activity for career development of staff. Lead for the design and delivery of workshops based on the RDF four quadrants that allow for researchers and academics to develop themselves in line with national development standards. Institutional liaison for Vitae, Concordats, ScotHERD and HR Excellence in Research. - Lead for the design and implementation of the largest researcher development activity for the University; The Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers. This created many outputs including creating the research culture action plan which will lead to the development of a more positive research culture at the University. - Responsible for designing and delivering the Researcher and Academic Development Programme which delivers over 200 workshops for staff for their personal and career development, this involved liaising with many external facilitators. - Institutional liaison for all researcher development organisations, stakeholder engagement and relationship development. - Lead for the University HR Excellence in Research Award. A European award granted to Universities with excellent research culture. - Clerk to the Career Development for Researchers Committee. Secretarial and Chairing responsibilities. - Major stakeholder engagement liaising with various industry partners including the Scottish and UK Governments through committees. - Delivered highly engaging events for the development of the research and academic community alongside institutional colleagues.

I was a visiting lecturer in design studies, the lecturing took the form of a series of face to face seminars where I delivered a range of topics.
