• Strategically managed legislative portfolio to guide bills and resolutions throughout the legislative process, creating three new Public Acts in the State of Michigan. • Planned and managed House Regulatory Reform Committee operations including hearing testimony on 36 specific public policy proposals, negotiate amendments, and passage of 23 pieces of legislation. • Implemented and executed mass communications and media strategy across multiple platforms to highlight legislative achievements, connect with approximately 90,000 constituents, and strengthen support among community members. • Coordinated daily office administration including budget planning, strategic communications, and human resource management in order to effectively operate a government office. • Organized logistics and coordinate fundraising efforts to support a group of elected officials' travel to and attendance at various policy conferences across the United States to represent the State of Michigan.
• Assisted Legislative Director to guide policy proposals throughout the legislative process and develop associated public relations messaging, including legislation to rescue the Detroit Public Schools from potential bankruptcy. • Directed constituent relations efforts by communicating with thousands of individual residents to best solve problems experienced with government agencies, answer questions about pending legislation, and highlight achievements of community members. • Managed the office schedule for events and meetings at the Capitol, the 90th District, and across the United States. • Coordinated the office internship program by interviewing, training, and supervising undergraduate interns.
• Oversaw constituent relations efforts on behalf of Rep. Potvin in order to answer questions, accept feedback, solve problems experienced with government agencies, and recognize outstanding achievements of community members. • Managed Rep. Potvin's day to day schedule of events at the Capitol and home legislative district.
• Develop and execute strategic campaign plan leading to re-election to the Michigan House of Representatives. • Design, implement, and orchestrate a fundraising strategy resulting in over $100,000 in contributions raised to date to support the campaign and other candidates across the State of Michigan. • Provide campaign staffing support to like-minded candidates with a 70% victory rate over the 2018 election cycle leading to Rep. Webber being elected by peers to a caucus leadership position.
• Created, implemented, and executed a successful strategic campaign plan the led to a 66% margin of victory in the primary election and a 46% margin of victory in the general election. • Assisted with planning and staffing fundraising events for campaign accounts that raised in excess of $110,000 over the course of the 2016 election cycle.
• Create and manage research portfolios on the records of campaign opponents • Drafted press releases and statements on behalf of the party and Party Chairman • Managed Michigan Republican Party and Party Chairman social media pages and mobile app • Tracked, filmed, and analyzed footage of opponent events across Michigan as a way of gaining new information to drive messaging and gain an electoral advantage
