Facilities and project management.
Current project(s): INTELSAT CORPORATION, Napa, Ca. (A) (Aug 2021 – June 2022) Provide full time management of all building trades for the design and construction of two new satellite antennas as well as the installation of new power and mechanical equipment to support commercial and private communication systems. (B) (June 2022 – 2024) Provide design and coordination services to support architectural and engineering efforts for an extensive primary and critical power upgrade throughout the entire Napa Campus. Once the plans have been finalized and approved, provide consultation services to choose subcontractors for the project, followed by on-site construction management for the power upgrade through completion.
Electrical Project Manager with experience in commercial and industrial project supervision starting at the estimation phase, continuing throughout construction efforts, overseeing all activities to project closeout and completion. Electrical Estimator responsible for project pricing and estimation takeoff efforts, turnover activities to construction crews, establishment of budgets and purchase agreements, as well as profit management.
Construction Project Management / Facilities Management 2014-2018 Provided design efforts and construction management for facility infrastructure improvement projects. This included building design and development, power upgrades (Utility, Standby Generator and UPS critical power generation and distribution systems), mechanical system updates, antenna foundation construction and installations, etc. • Developed, designed and managed construction projects of all types and sizes to enhance, expand and upgrade communication site infrastructures. • Supported financial planning for annual expenses as well as capital improvement projects and deliverables. Created short and long term (5 - 15 year) budget projection roadmaps and identified maintenance expenditures, etc. • Analyzed facility related projects and designs for potential financial savings and alternatives. • Worked independently and collaboratively with internal and external parties to ensure the successful and on-time implementation and completion of each project. • Managed and delegated site maintenance practices and infrastructure improvement projects to facilities engineers and technicians at all Intelsat Facilities. • Resolved complex technical and engineering issues. • Researched, tested and implemented a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for all physical facilities. Provided training to Facilities Engineers at all sites. • Developed standardized Statements of Work, Preventative Maintenance schedules and End of Life programs for Facility equipment (Properties, Structures, Switchgear, Transformers, Mechanical systems, Generators, UPS/Battery systems, Fire and Security systems, etc.).
• Assisted in establishing Teleport service contracts for facility related categories at all locations. • Created and maintained Teleport facilities documentation and records for multiple sites throughout the world. • Established contracts and managed vendors for all equipment related maintenance activities. • Provided internal training of facility equipment operations to personnel at all Intelsat sites.
