Charles Giancarlo is Chairman and CEO of Everpure, the data storage and data management company that helps innovators leverage their data, use artificial intelligence and modern analytics to build a better world. He is an Internet Pioneer, Entrepreneur, Investor, and former senior executive of a Fortune 50 high tech company. Mr. Giancarlo serves on the boards of Arista Networks, Inc., Everpure, Inc. and Zscaler, Inc., and is a co-founder of the Digital Dollar Foundation. Career Highlights From 2008 until 2013 Mr. Giancarlo was a Managing Director of Silver Lake Partners, the global leader in technology investing, with over $42 billion in combined assets. He also served as Silver Lake’s leader of value creation. From 1993 through to 2007 he served as Cisco’s Executive Vice President, Chief Technology and Development Officer, leading all product development and product management activities. Adaptive, his first startup, created the first high speed backbone for the nascent Internet in 1991. In 1993 his team created the first Ethernet Switch, the backbone of the Internet and Worldwide Web today. And, in 1999 with his team, created both the first Wi-Fi products as well as the first IP Telephone systems.
