I am the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Head First Studios, a remote-first Belgian game studio building Divine Ambition, a physics-driven strategy game set on fractured floating battlegrounds where gravity, miracles and terrain shape every fight. My work sits at the intersection of studio leadership, production strategy, game design, funding, team building and external relations. At HFS, I help translate a highly ambitious creative vision into a functioning company: aligning milestones, structuring remote collaboration, building partnerships, supporting recruitment, shaping funding strategy and keeping the team focused on turning bold systems into a playable, pitchable product. Before founding HFS, I worked across interactive experiences, digital transformation, business development and international operations. I helped lead proposals and multidisciplinary teams at Deloitte Digital, opened and managed Brandfirst’s South American branch from São Paulo, and worked on commercial strategy for a large creator-led media business while travelling across South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. I am especially drawn to projects that combine systems, culture and meaning: strategy games, new technologies, mythology, psychology, history, philosophy and art. My long-term ambition with Head First Studios is to build games that are not only commercially viable, but intellectually and emotionally memorable.
Head First Studios is an international, remote-first game studio currently developing Divine Ambition, a PC-first physics-driven strategy game built around fractured battlefields, gravity, time, miracles and mythological warfare. As Co-Founder and Managing Director, I lead the corporate, strategic and production-facing layers of the studio while supporting game design, funding, external relations and long-term product positioning. Since 2025, I have helped reposition the studio from earlier VR-first exploration and external interactive work toward a focused PC strategy production, with clearer milestones, stronger production systems, a broader international team and a more commercially legible product direction. Key responsibilities: - Lead studio strategy, milestone planning, funding preparation and external positioning. - Structure a remote-first, international team culture built around ownership, healthy debate and impact over hours. - Support recruitment, onboarding and mentorship systems for a growing contributor base. - Represent the studio toward accelerators, funders, partners, publishers, schools and industry contacts. - Contribute to game design, market positioning, pitch materials and the long-term commercial roadmap. - Help translate an ambitious original IP into a playable, pitchable and commercially credible PC strategy game.
Managed strategic, financial and B2B aspects of a large creator-led media business while travelling internationally. - Supported business strategy, advertising sales, merchandising and membership revenue for a creator ecosystem with approximately 3M+ YouTube subscribers and 500k+ Instagram followers. - Managed commercial relationships and revenue-generating activities while operating fully remotely across multiple continents. - Combined long-term travel with continuing education in environmental sciences, philosophy, ethics and geopolitics through HarvardX and MITx coursework. - Developed a stronger international perspective on digital audiences, creator economics, remote work and cross-cultural communication.
Led proposals, multidisciplinary teams and delivery support for digital transformation and interactive-experience projects, with a focus on European public-sector clients. - Managed RFPs and proposal development for Deloitte Digital’s newly independent interactive-experiences unit after the acquisition of Brandfirst. - Led multidisciplinary teams of 2–10 consultants and specialists to structure proposals, define approaches and prepare client-facing materials. - Specialized in European institutional clients, including collaboration with European Commission, Parliament and Council stakeholders. - Ran a modular Agile squad of 5 FTEs on a long-term European Commission project focused on updating institutional digital tools. - Collaborated with multiple European Commission Directorate-Generals, including DIGIT, DG COMP, DG COMM, OIB, SECGEN, DGT, DG HR and DG BUDG.
Opened and managed Brandfirst Interactive’s South American branch from São Paulo after conducting the initial market study. Led regional business development, sales coordination, marketing, operations and local partner relationships for a technology-driven interactive-experiences agency later acquired by Deloitte Digital. - Built the South American branch from market-entry research to operational launch. - Led regional sales, marketing, legal, tax, accounting and partner-management activities. - Coordinated business development through a network of 3+ sales representatives. - Adapted Brandfirst’s communication strategy and marketing materials to the local market, contributing to a broader global branding refresh. - Negotiated agreements and built relationships with regional commercial, institutional and event partners. - Represented the company through lectures and industry events, including marketing, DOOH, Belgian and EU Chamber of Commerce contexts. - Designed and operated trade-show booths independently and with local partners. - Supported international projects across the Middle East, Asia and the Americas, from business development to on-site technical support.
- Supported sales and business development for custom technology-driven interactive experiences using gesture recognition, facial recognition, AR/VR, touch/object recognition and related technologies. - Contributed to client outreach, proposals, market research and early international expansion groundwork.
- Conducted quantitative and qualitative analysis on large retail datasets to improve promotional efficiency for P&G fabric-care and home-care brands in Belgian Carrefour supermarkets. - Developed recommendations to streamline promotion systems and improve commercial decision-making. - Gained early experience in FMCG marketing analytics, retail strategy and data-backed consulting.
