As a Finance Manager at ENGIE, I lead a team of 4 financial controllers responsible for overseeing the financial performance of all key industrial accounts. My main responsibilities include: - Conducting detailed analysis of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives. - Providing guidance and support to my team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data. - Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to drive financial performance and improve customer satisfaction. - Leading budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure financial targets are met and risks are identified and mitigated.
Missions : - Transpose production plans into financial products to calculate the value and hedge exposure of ENGIE assets in Central Western Europe, utilizing spread options and futures. - Manage operational hedging process for illiquid markets, from D+2 to Y+4, to ensure risk hedging path for each asset as determined by clients and the risk committee. - Monitor P&L per asset and report to clients. - Prepare budgets for BOY to Y+3. - Optimize current processes and introduce digitalization through tool optimization and API implementation.
Missions : - Manage the Data Analysis Team - Report and update the board about the imbalance account status and the situation regarding French regulator objectives. (Imbalance account = gas inlet - gas consumption) - Be a reference for R&D or SI projects. - Planification and supervision of major network development siteworks regarding the network impacts. - On-call work for emergency network situations. Mission of the team : - Analyze and validate daily raw data incoming from the metering devices and chromatographs in - order to provide our clients their daily consumption with the highest reliability level. - Provide the best available estimation of consumption, in case of a system failure, to our clients - Provide an everyday detailed picture of our client consumptions to the market (and other business units) - Prepare and validate monthly data in contribution to the billing process - Propose improvement to the operational & maintenance team in order to optimize the overall metering process
Maintenance: Building the yearly maintenance’s plan of the region. Failure feedback analysis and large scale maintenance operations’ supervision. Optimisation of pipeline surveillance reporting (Innovation 2010: 1st price award). Costs analysis for several maintenance activities using PM-SAP module. 02/07-06/07 ExxonMobil Refinery - Singapore Engineer Internship - Modelling of cooling tower operations during annual refinery maintenance operations. Development of new procedures to manage the shut down. Mission involved tasks planning management, VBA programming and intensive use of Excel macros and intensive teamwork with the process and maintenance teams. Economic incentives evaluation. - Flare system analysis to plan for flare shut down during upcoming shutdown.
