As a Chief Facilities Manager, I Oversee daily operations of a four building, 350,000 square feet research and developement center with 350 employees ensuring safety, comfort, code compliance, and efficiency. My Specialties: • Enhance workplace safety and improve employee satisfaction. • Maintain code compliance during facility design, construction, and operation. • Manage Budgets and schedules • Upgrade Building Automation to integrate into energy tracking and system maintenance. • Manage Consultant and Contractor Relationships • Manage Hiring process and training new employees • Facilitate Team-building events • Manage energy optimization and audits Key Accomplishments: • Create, maintain, and meet budgets by collaborating with senior management for prioritization and scheduling of facility updates and capital improvements. • Develop and implement project and preventative maintenance schedules utilizing onsite and contracted resources to ensure timely completion and clear communication of milestones and adjustments. • Recruit, train, and onboard new employees utilizing company best practices to ensure productive and healthy work culture and increase overall retention. • Collaborate with team members on annual reviews to encourage goal setting along with professional and personal growth to foster environment of continuous improvement. • Create and track energy baselines to build sustainability goals developed with audits completed and projects created to meet these goals. • Utilize Building automation systems to identify trends and report abnormalities in energy use resulting in proactive approach to possible issues and cost savings.
Design and installation of cleanrooms and critical controlled environments. Specify and order long lead equipment. Test, balance, commission and validate newly installed equipment and systems. General marketing including trade shows.
