I am a senior executive in Private Equity Real Estate, with significant experience in real estate investment banking and principal investing having underwritten over $43 billion and completed over $5 billion in transactions involving corporate and real estate advisory, development and private capital (debt and LP equity) raises, as well as over $300 million in (direct) principal equity and debt investments across the capital stack. In recent years, my focus has expanded to portfolio and investment strategy, and I am a frequent contributor to webinars/panels and thought leadership content, and mentor to young professionals. Through my career, I have built relationships with a variety of global PERE investors, including pension and insurance funds, fund managers, and sovereign wealth funds. My wide transaction and technical (Excel/Argus underwriting) experience spans retail, office, multi-family, lodging, industrial, as well as niche real estate classes including manufactured-, student-, and senior-housing, datacenters, and cold- and self-storage. I also worked in generalist investment banking, gaining M&A experience across consumer goods, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, technology, FIG, and real estate, as well as asset and wealth management (pre-Master). I have a strongly diverse/international background, having lived and worked across Europe and the U.S., and speaking multiple languages. I hold a cum laude MScBA degree from the Rotterdam School of Management in The Netherlands, and a post-graduate certificate in Real Estate Finance & Investments from New York University. I have held FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses, and am a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder.
