PGY1 AEGD resident Provided primary dental care to veterans with complex medical conditions and extensive dental needs ● Crown and bridge: 100+ units of fixed prosthetics including single unit crowns, multi-abutment bridges, implant-retained crowns and implant-retained bridges using Nobel and Straumann systems ● OS: 100+ simple and surgical extractions involving use of handpiece and sectioning of roots ● Endo: 30+ anterior, premolar, and molar endo using WaveOne rotary system, single-cone sealer technique, accessed through obstructions ● Removable: 50+ arches of partial and complete removable prosthodontics using acrylic, valplast, and chrome cobalt frameworks ● Perio: Comprehensive periodontal treatment planning alongside Periodontist
Provided dental care to patients with supervision from dentists. Clinical experiences include the following: • Operative dentistry including direct restorative and indirect restorative: crown and bridge both dentate and implant-retained using conventional analog and digital impression techniques • Removable partial and complete dentures • Endodontic root canal therapy using the Brasseler EndoSequence rotary system
Facilitated daily clinical operations including patient management, following sterilization protocol, organizational skill, as well as time management while closely working with 10+ dental practitioners including General Dentists, Endodontists, Pediatric dentists, Oral Surgeons, and Periodontists.
