Hi! I'm Charlene, a data/graphics journalist at The Straits Times. I bring stories to life through visual mediums, which could include 📈 data, 🗺️ maps, 📸 photo/video and 🎨3D visualisations. I graduated with a comms degree in 2020, with a specialisation in broadcast journalism. In 2023, I also earned my Masters degree in dataviz, equipping me with more tools and skills for visual storytelling. Outside of work, I spend hours watching a crazy coffee man (James Hoffman) talk about coffee ☕, scream my lungs out at spin class, and (try not to) buy an excessive amount of bread.
