Sze How was appointed Associate Director, Market Development for East Asia, Xandr (A Microsoft Company) in January 2020 and further expanded his scope to the wider APAC region in 2021. Based out of the Singapore office, he is responsible for managing the company’s presence, growth and expansion in the region with a core focus on building marketplaces. Leveraging on his technical foundation, he specializes in closing and activating complex enterprise deals across strategic clients with a consistent track record in delivering >100% revenue quota year on year across his book of business. With strong passion in AdTech field, Sze How has served in both Video and Programmatic Committees of IAB HK in 2021 and 2020 respectively, where he drives industry initiatives for the digital ecosystem in Hong Kong. Previously, he was part of the Solutions Consulting team for two years where he was responsible for technical partnership with key strategic clients throughout APAC. During which, he focused on building market liquidity through solution engineering and implementations. On the supply front, he has successfully implemented several tier 1 publishers across APAC and served as a thought partner for monetization. Also, he pioneered and expanded AppNexus’ footprint in the Taiwan market - owning the new business cycle for top clients as well as supply evangelism. On the demand side, he drives revenue as a technical partner for buyers and agency clients. Prior to joining AppNexus (now known as Xandr), Sze How co-founded a travel-tech company where he led Business Development and Product Management. In 2014, he had his first encounter with adtech during his stint in New York where he served as an Account Manager at Mezzobit (acquired by OpenX). With more than 10+ years of experience in the advertising tech industry, he has extensive knowledge of Demand Side Platforms (DSP), Supply Side Platforms (SSP), Ad Servers, Data Management Platforms, Real-time bidding (RTB), header bidding solutions, etc. Sze How holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics with a minor in Technopreneurship from the National University of Singapore.
