As a current Curtin University Computer Science student, I aim to be the very best I can during all aspects of my studies, especially in my drive and desire to learn new skills as well as meet new people. I am a passionate, team-oriented and motivated individual capable of adapting to, and solving any problems I face in and out of the working environment. I have completed the following units related to my field of Information Technology currently at Curtin University: - Programming, Design and Implementation (Java) - Networks and Data Security - Unix and C programming (C) - Data Structures and Algorithms (Java) - Introduction to Software Engineering (Java) I'm aiming to pursue a path in tech consulting as well as cyber security, as I have been influenced by my time spent at the SCC where I learnt the fundamentals of Cyber Security and enjoyed the fulfilling nature of team work in a fast-paced environment.
During my summer holidays I undertook a workshop internship at the SCC where I participated in training to learn the basics of cybersecurity at the company. This involved using Linux coding and bash scripts as well as working with a team to solve a 3-hour scenario task.
Worked and communicated with a team of other ATAR students and set up tables, musical equipment, and seating. Cleaned up rubbish during breaks as well as packed the tables, musical equipment, and chairs after the event.
