Former NASA Engineer | From Achievement to Clarity | Helping Professionals Under Constant Mental Pressure Restore Focus and Balance Through Daily Simplicity

Schönau im Schwarzwald, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

About

I’m a former NASA engineer who now helps professionals under constant mental pressure restore focus and balance through simple movement and practical daily habits. Many professionals function at a high level, but remain under continuous mental pressure. Over time, this affects focus, decision-making, inner balance, and access to clarity. A pattern I have seen repeatedly is this: The mind keeps running. The body is neglected. And thinking more no longer solves the problem. Most people respond by increasing effort: more thinking, more pressure, more strategies. But in many cases, this creates more internal noise rather than more clarity. My work offers a simple and practical alternative. Instead of adding another complex system, I help people reconnect with the body through walking, breathing, and other simple movement-based practices that can be applied in daily life. My process is straightforward: • We begin with a short conversation • I identify the main pattern or source of overload • I suggest one practical exercise • You apply it consistently for a short period • We observe what changes People usually come to me when: • focus is harder to access • mental pressure remains high • thinking no longer leads to clarity • stress is managed mentally, but not truly resolved • they want a practical way to restore balance without forcing it This approach is based on lived experience, not abstract theory. If this resonates, feel free to connect or message me. You’re welcome to start with a 30-minute clarity session: 👉 https://calendly.com/chanpark/clarity-session-linkedin Chan

Experience

  • Founder, Tango Zen House | Focus & Clarity Through Movement at Tango Zen House
    Mar 2007 - Present · 19 yrs 4 mos

I work with professionals who think constantly—and find that clarity becomes harder to access under pressure. The usual response is to think more, push harder, and apply more strategies. In many cases, that only creates more interference. Instead of adding more techniques or strategies, I use simple movement-based practices to help restore clarity. My approach is practical and experience-based: • understanding where attention is blocked • introducing one simple daily movement practice • applying it consistently and observing real change This work comes from years of direct exploration of how movement affects attention, coordination, and decision-making—drawing from tango, walking meditation, and traditional practices, always reduced to what is simple and repeatable in daily life. I created Tango Zen as a way to make this accessible. Today, my work includes 1:1 coaching, workshops, retreats, and creative projects across Europe, North America, and South America. I am the author of Tango Zen, producer/director of the documentary Tango Your Life, and executive producer of Tango Zen: Returning to Tradition.
