I joined the Continental Benefits team in April 2017, as a Clinical Consultant with responsibility for leading our Population Health initiatives. My passion for breaking down the barriers that prevent access to quality, cost-effective healthcare, combined with my clinical experience in the field and medical information systems, make me the perfect fit for this position. I collaborate with our clients, Account Managers, Account Executives and consultant/broker teams, to provide ongoing quarterly and annual population health updates and recommendations. My mission is to continually develop and enhance key initiatives designed to reduce our clientsโ disease burden and healthcare costs. Responsible for facilitating the interdisciplinary design, development, adoption, and application of Moffittโs Clinical Pathways throughout all healthcare activities of Moffittโs Clinical enterprise with an emphasis on the EHR. Work with disease-specific, interdisciplinary team members and clinical pathways developers to facilitate the documentation of Moffitt clinical care models and work flow, to assure process development and maintain appropriate documentation records, and to validate specific clinical data with respect to pathways practice alignment. Promotes the understanding, integration, and application of information technology in multiple healthcare settings within the multidisciplinary teams including within Moffittโs EHR, Cerner, and related departments within the center. Serve as consultant, change agent, and facilitator, in assessing need, planning, implementing, and evaluating the development and support required for clinical pathways operational integration into the Cerner information systems.
Develop and design web based, interactive clinical pathways in collaboration with Medical Oncologists, Surgeons, Radiation Oncologists, Pharmacists and others that define standard criteria and treatment across clinicians. Configuration of a web based documentation tool to collect discrete data and outcomes.
