With over 15 years of experience in academia and industry, I specialize in vision AI algorithmic solutions, machine vision, and sustainability. Currently, I serve as the Associate Professor at UTAR and AI Manager at Halo Technologies, where I lead efforts in developing advanced vision AI systems for manufacturing. I drove innovations in ESG and sustainability technologies through web, mobile apps and big data dashboard when I was the CTO of a household waste management company. My work bridges academia and industry, focusing on applying AI to solve real-world challenges in manufacturing and environmental sustainability.
As an AI Manager, I lead the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions for next-generation Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems, targeting the manufacturing sector. My role encompasses managing AI teams, deploying advanced machine learning models, and aligning technical strategies with business objectives. I am dedicated to fostering collaboration, upholding ethical AI practices, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation, enhance efficiency, and deliver measurable value for the organization.
