Hi, I’m Chad Twaro and welcome to my LinkedIn profile! Here’s everything you need to know about what I can bring to your organization! I am a data storyteller who has experience working in higher education (12 years in college sports communications), the private sector (2 years at a SAAS company) and non-profit (currently working my second contract role with Mikva Challenge). My 12 years in higher education involved analyzing data and using it to tell stories that got amplified by the media in college sports. In that time, I designed and executed digital brand strategies that drew massive engagement, earned placements in national publications (ex: ESPN and The Athletic), bolstered fundraising efforts to close a capital campaign and convinced talented recruits to sign on with the programs I served. The media approved of my team’s efforts, bestowing Super 11 honors on our staff at Miami for top athletic communications department in our conference in my final two years there. At iHire, I dug further into my diverse toolkit to achieve results. I utilized my research and writing skills to pen timely articles on trending employment topics. My versatility came in handy when I became a producer for the company’s HR Academy and Employer webinars, which consistently set company records for attendees, engagement and sales leads. My outreach efforts as producer of the popular WorkInSports Podcast drew in guests from the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Kraken and Detroit Free Press. Finally, I developed into a project manager in the company’s Agile environment and helped improve and grow its online education products, making 127% of its annual revenue goals. Since earning certifications during a career pivot into data analysis (Power BI, Excel and Access) and project management (Certified Scrum Master; CSM), I've cleaned data and produced donor reports to visualize the impact that Mikva Challenge curriculum had on their students, including the agency-wide annual report, as a data analyst fellow. As a contract communications manager, I am leveraging data by looking at social media posts and past projects' effectiveness in reaching donors and students and utilizing tools such as Meltwater and Monday.com to analyze social media engagement and project workflows. I would love to chat about how my skills can be an asset to your organization.
Over my contract with Mikva Challenge, I manage projects from request to completion through Monday.com board, producing graphic design (via Canva) assets, written copy for social media posts, live event coverage for organizational programming and filming video interviews for alumni to showcase where they are now and how Mikva helped them develop. Notable projects include: -Creating donor outreach documents utilized by development staff to secure organizational funding -Producing event flyers to generate awareness of local programming across the country -Designing graphics for social media posts promoting programming -Content strategy in scheduling social media posts to fill the calendar and position organization as a brand with authority in youth civic engagement -Filming and editing a video interview with a former student of the organization's curriculum as proof of impact.
For the 2023-24 season, I've collaborated with all teams in the NCHC to produce a bi-weekly feature on the league's website.
