I built a competing FP&A product, learned about Aleph, and realized they built it better. Joined as employee #15. Since then: helped graduate the company from founder-led sales, created our go-to-market motion for PE-backed companies and their sponsors, stood up the solutions engineering team, and currently lead our finance and legal functions. These days I spend 80% of my day using Aleph and 20% talking about why I love it so much.
The work product I'm most proud of. Launched the podcast I wished I'd had as a liberal arts major without any family ties to the business world. Open-sourced the technicals training I gave to hundreds of undergrads when I was at Goldman Sachs so anyone, anywhere could access previously only available to students at a select few colleges. 100,000+ downloads and top-rated finance education podcast.
Started an FP&A software company to address the pain points I saw firsthand as an investor to replace Excel. After 3 years and a lot of churn, realized that another startup - a direct competitor - was going to be a generational company.
