Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain
I began my professional football career in 2007 with Osasuna, followed by spells at Olympique de Marseille and Chelsea FC, where I spent 11 seasons and served as club captain. I played two seasons for Atlético de Madrid and currently playing for Sevilla FC. I have represented Spain from youth level to World Cups. Beyond football, I am passionate about business, leadership, and long-term athlete development. I hold an MBA and have completed executive education at Harvard Business School, focused on the business of sport, media, and entertainment. These experiences have shaped my perspective on high performance, strategic growth, and sustainable leadership. I actively invest in and collaborate with companies across sports, lifestyle, and technology — focusing on ventures that align with values of purpose, innovation, and impact. I’m also completing a Sport Directorship through the PFA to prepare for future leadership and advisory roles in sport and business. My goal is to continue building a positive impact off the pitch by supporting athletes in their development during and after their careers, and by contributing to purposeful ventures through strategy, leadership, and collaboration.
