I am a mathematician turned software developer. I am currently leveraging my analytical and problem solving skills to solve software development problems in the financial services industry. I have experience writing applications in C#, Python, PHP (MVC), JavaScript, SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cache), HTML/CSS, C++, Artiva, and InterSystems ObjectScript.
- Responsible for managing the software development team and supporting the daily functions of the organization. - Liaison between the software development team and other business departments to ensure communication is provided and work is prioritized based on business/company needs. - Provide guidance and training to other staff, quality assurance over projects and tasks assigned to the IT team, and general project ownership and management for business-critical systems. - Manage vendor relationships ensuring data is produced and delivered on a timely basis. - Continuously improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines related to Artiva scripting, C# console apps, and SQL report writing (InterSystems Cache SQL). - Design, document, and test the creation or modification of programs related to financial collection applications. - Work closely with the product team and development resources across all phases of projects, including contributing to all phases of the software development life cycle. - Develop and improve Artiva scripts, tables, menus, workflows, views, and windows. - Artiva (FINVI): Foundations, System Administration, Data Structures, Scripts and File Processing.
