I have been working in the Construction & Engineering Industry professionally since 2017, but my ties to construction begin with my father who worked as a skilled carpenter for the majority of my youth. Even though I have a modest amount of experience, I find joy in the ability to learn something new every day working in this industry. I am the first college graduate in my family and the first civil engineer, and I take great pride in that. My education & experiences have served as incredible tools for helping me understand plans, interpret engineering submittals, sustain quality relationships with clientele, city officials and subcontractors, and even for advocating for better sustainability, work efficiency & safety practices. I am a detail-oriented and enthusiastic natural leader. I believe in comradery & respect at all levels, and above all else, getting the job done.

Coral Casino Historical Restoration & Remodel (Design-Build) Performed a historical restoration & remodel of the Coral Casino in Montecito, CA.
While assigned to a highly lucrative residential homes project located on the hillside of the Trousdale Estates, I was mainly responsible for active on-site Change Order management which included tracking labor hours, material and equipment costs, costs to completion, and ensuring contract requirements were accurately followed. Overall, I assisted my manager with over $500k in change order management. In addition, my tasks also included taking daily progress photos, OAC minutes & submittal management, and assisting superintendents with material drop-offs, subcontractor communications, and inspections.
As a Course Administrator, I gave several demonstrations on Revit 2019 and Navisworks 2019, where we focused on developing students’ ability to accurately read and create architectural plans, and transition those plans into three-dimensional models. I provided modeling guidance & reviews on a semester-long project where student teams modeled an entire college dormitory based on a real construction set. Their model consisted of a functioning mechanical HVAC model, architectural & structural models, and demonstrations of Navisworks building schedules, walkthroughs, and clash detection.
I remotely assisted the NOBU project management team during the first phase of construction. My tasks included utilizing Procore & CMiC to help define and close out Submittals, RFI’s, Sample Approvals, & Change Orders, as well as collaborating with my team, trade specialists, & architects on a daily basis to solve concerns over plans, constructibility issues, and construction operations to maintain efficiency and workflow.
