West Africa LNG Group, Inc. (WALNG) is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) products and services company currently in the process of building an LNG receiving terminal in the Republic of Guinea (Kamsar LNG Terminal). When completed, the Kamsar LNG Terminal will provide commercial quantities of clean burning and affordably priced LNG to support the energy needs of the Guinean mining, agricultural, transportation, and retail sectors. The feasibility study, funded by a US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) grant, is expected to be completed by the end of 2020. Phase 1 capacity of the Project is designed to fuel 200 MWs of power generation which is expected to increase to 1,000+ MWs with additional capacity expansions in subsequent phases.
