I was born in Lorain Ohio, approx 35 miles West of Cleveland. I worked retail for 8 years and was a retail manager for 6 1/2 of those 8 years. I was promoted to an assistant manager at the age of 17. When I got my own store, I was the youngest store manager in my region with some of the best numbers. We continuously made our months and won the selling contests. I wasn't satisfied working in retail so I decided to make a change and enrolled in Film School and moved to LA. Over the past 11 years I have worked freelance Line Producing, Production Managing, Coordinating, Art Dept Coordinating, & Sound Mixing. I've also been known to Coordinate events. I'm a member of IATSE Local 871. I am able to work as a POC and Art Dept Coordinator. You can see by my list of work that I'm hired repeatedly by the same Producers, Production Designers and companies, showing that they like the way that I do my job and consider me a part of their team. Eve Light Honthaner, the author of The Complete Film Production Handbook 4th edition, interviewed me and added my thoughts into her book. You can see what I have to say about low budget indy Line Producing on page 418 & 420. I adopted a Dachshund Tweenie named Ally in 2015, she had a rough start at life and I'm giving her a new start. I love her, she's my world. She's very quiet and calm, I bring her to the office with me when I can. Most people don't even know she's sitting under my desk until I take her for a walk. Ally was found in an alley giving birth to puppies covered in fleas and bite marks. My husband and I adopted a Chiweenie named Liza in Sept of 2018. She was also a rescue dog with a log of anxiety issues, now she's a goofy girl that loves to play in the evenings.
