• Ensuring the program compliancy on all regulatory and licensing requirements in accordance with agency, state, accreditation, and federal regulations. • Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to keep program services, processes, and physical sites operating in a legal and ethical manner. • Conduct internal audit or investigations and recommend areas for improvement. Monitoring and documenting compliance activities. • Collaboratively work with leadership team for effectiveness of program operations and established goals. • Identified, investigated, and reported compliance issues, irregularities, and violations immediately to leadership and management • Regularly observed and evaluated buildings, grounds, equipment, staff, children, vehicles, and other program resources and addressed issues and problems as needed. • Designed, developed, implemented, and evaluated interventions to improve performance for key indicators of program outcomes and business operations, goals, and objectives • Reviewed critical incident reports and carried out root analysis to determine the cause • Performed regulatory compliance safety walk-throughs of the program to ensure continuous compliance
• Developed, coordinated and facilitated program trainings in accordance with Agency, state licensing standards, CARF accreditation policies and other federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. •Educated, trained, and advised staff on policies/procedures. •Developed monthly program curriculum to remain compliant with annual ORR and state licensing training standards and requirements for all staff. •Provided updated training needs, reinforced previous training, or training debriefings to program staff. •Monitored working environment to ensure environment is free of hazards; work with program staff to minimize risks. •Maintained record of completed training through Aspire Learning Academy; complete certificates for completed training to retain in employee file and meet licensing requirements; provide timely documentation of training issues. •Collaborated with other ORR shelters, and Organizational Development department provide new and updated training for shelter programs, community services and other stakeholders.
