IDS Capital UK ltd is the investment arm of a single-family office with its roots in the chemical and biopharmaceutical sectors. The Firm is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority. IDS Capital group of companies are based in the UK and Switzerland. Along with its Swiss affiliated entities, the Firm has evolved from a multi-family office to an Asset Manager including a hedge fund, before refocusing in 2017 to its original single-family office roots. In 2018, IDS Capital UK ltd has re-established a branch in Switzerland for support activities. As the Group’s Founder, I have also set up the UK entity in 2013 and manage it since then. This includes the company registration, FCA regulatory authorisations, hiring of external service providers and internal team, set up of procedures, and day-to-day management including all functions of Chief Investment Officer. The Firm manages a systematic future hedge fund strategy and advises on multi-assets investments including allocations to private equity funds and direct deals. IDS Capital UK Ltd is regulated by the UK FCA. The Firm is solely owned by its Partners.
Between 2004 and 2013, IDS Capital SA was a Swiss based independent Asset Management Company and a member of the Swiss Association of Assets Managers. The company catered specialized investment and consulting services in non-traditional investment fields including structured products, hedge funds, and private equity. IDS Capital SA has acted as the Group’s passive holding Company until 2023, when it was liquidated.
Luxembourg registered umbrella SIF. At peak the SICAV was composed of 3 sub-funds with around 60 mln of total AUM.
