Since 2001 in the healthcare business, currently entrepreneur, interim-manager and CFO of Self-screen BV. Previously Mr. van der Meulen was board member at Kennemerhart, manager of the Imaging&Oncology division in UMC Utrecht and of the Medical Support Division, Women’s Health & Pediatrics and the Brain & Senses divisions in the VU medical center. Mr. van der Meulen has many years of managerial experience in the healthcare industry. He has worked as an entrepreneur, director, business analyst, treasurer, interim manager and business development manager. As entrepreneur, he was primarily involved with creating new business, translating market needs into new products and/or services and realizing co-development deals with the medical diagnostic industry. Mr. van der Meulen studied Marketing and Advertising (BSc), Economics (MSc), a MBA at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (RSM) and did a post master degree as Registered Business Valuator at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (RSM). As a leader I like to empower others based on inclusive learning which takes constant practice, bravery, respect and reflection. It’s important to remember that we are all learning on our journey. We have to make room for mistakes, create opportunities for education, and move forward with positive intention to reach our goals.
