Front-end developer on the NaviCloud Director platform, an IaaS enterprise cloud offering built on VMware virtualization technologies. Original member of the UX team that built the front-end stack using Coffeescript, SpineJS (MVC framework), MongoDB, Tornado, nginx Designed and implemented various data visualizations using D3.js and custom SVG rendering tools. Previously worked on the original NaviCloud platform, making major feature contributions including implementing a configurable white-label structure for branding the front-end, real-time metrics visualizations in SVG using Raphael, and an SSL certificate management tool that interfaced with physical networking devices (e.g. Citrix NetScaler)
Early employee in a startup focused on creating a SaaS platform for museums and historic sites to provide locationally-relevant interpretational content to visitors. Architected customized solution to deliver multimedia content to mobile devices. This was a multi-faceted platform consisting of a number of functional parts: - Telephony engine to terminate incoming SIP traffic and deliver customized audio content determined by DID and caller input. - Mobile web interface to deliver audio content as well as images, video, and text. Site was device-aware and provided media adapted to the capabilities of each device. - Self-service web portal for customers to manage their media assets and view key metrics related to their account. - Billing and reporting engine to feed customer usage information into back-office systems for billing and accounting purposes, and to report operating metrics to decision-makers to drive company strategy. Technology stack included: Asterisk, SIP Express Router (SER), Apache, MySQL, PHP, DeviceAtlas Also responsible for audio recording and production, general IT support, and configuring and maintaining key back-office systems (Quickbooks, SugarCRM, etc.)
