Over 30 years practicing as an nurse/attorney in the area of medical and nursing home negligence and personal injury litigation with experience as both a defense attorney and, now, on behalf of plaintiffs. Since, switching to representing plaintiffs, I have successfully represented individuals both in Maryland and out-of-state who were injured or died through the negligence of others including doctors, hospitals, and nursing homes.
• Primary Responsibility with representation of Plaintiffs in complex medical negligence litigation and motor tort litigation. Management of all cases filed into the Circuit and District Courts throughout all Maryland Counties. o Created civil litigation section and procedures to manage Circuit Court level cases in motor tort and medical negligence. Brought cases from initial interview through to settlement, mediation and/or trial. Primary responsibility for all aspects of case management, including drafting of all pleadings, written discovery, motions practice, fact and expert witness depositions, mediation, pre-trial and trial matters.
