I am an experienced financial analyst with exposure to general ledger reconciliation, inventory control, SOX schedule preparations, identify system issues and follows through on appropriate resolutions.
I have worked in various capacities within the inventory department. I have helped in the implementation of streamlining, refining and improving the department from its infancy. I have successfully tested the general ledger and inventory reconciliation and the perpetual inventory for participation audit - resulting in streamlining the process and providing quick access with accuracy. I was also responsible for solving problems by finding root causes. I worked closely with operation and manufacturing departments. Duties included validating the cost of goods sold as part of the monthly SOX schedules. I also handled month end general ledger closings and researched on fact findings for participation audits.
I handled all the related financial functions related to the desktop contract for our customer Raytheon. My main responsibility was billings for the desktop support and managed all the procurement expenses. I interfaced with information technology to enhance the billing system and assisted the transition from the Dun and Bradstreet system to SAP system.
