I am a junior at the University of Washington where I am pursuing a double degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. I currently work as a writing tutor and peer mentor at the Odegard Writing and Research Center for the University of Washington, and this summer I will join Nintendo as an IT software engineering intern. Peer Mentor Leads provide peer support, and coordinate and facilitate small group professional development, tutor-to-tutor conversations, and peer mentor observations and co-leads. They also serve as Shift Lead on evenings or weekend shifts, and are available to answer questions, debrief sessions, help tutors problem solve, and cover shifts when urgent or emergency coverage is needed. Their primary role is to be a mentor and model tutor in the OWRC.
I work with 10-15 students in personalized, one-on-one writing appointments per week to solve linguistic challenges and navigate rhetorical situations.
I developed gameplay testing automation to verify and validate data collected for business analytics reports compiled from more than 1 petabyte of data. To do so, I utilized Python with pySerial, pyUSB, and pynput to develop keyboard logging techniques to record gameplay on multiple devices at once in parallel. I also used OpenCV-Python, NumPy, and Matplotlib to recognize home screen, user profile, and other important screens.
