Basic Accounting Peer Tutor & Teaching Assistant • Help students to better understand the concepts of basic accounting and act as a learning resource • Assist the professor in proctoring exams, answering questions in class and holding office hours Computer in Business Peer Tutor • Answer and guide students about Excel and Access in breakout rooms during class • Participate in weekly student boot camps, which allow students to review current material
• Coordinate with the alumni advisory committee and housing board to ensure that members felt supported during the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of quarantining in chapter rooms, getting proper nutrition and ensuring our chapter is cooperating with local, state and federal health officials • Organize around 100 members living in the chapter house into their individual rooms to maximize personal space • Advise members on rules set in place by chapter bylaws, chapter nationals and the house manager
