About

I lead knowledge management (KM) and generative AI initiatives for McDermott’s Litigation practices, including IP Litigation, Employment Litigation, and Antitrust. Drawing on my 15 years as a practicing litigator, I work closely with attorneys and practice group leaders to identify high-value use cases for GenAI and integrate AI-driven tools into everyday litigation workflows. I also maintain an active pro bono practice representing refugees in asylum proceedings and serve on the Board of Directors for the Amica Center for Immigrant Rights. Projects developed and launched include: • McDermott AI (firmwide GenAI platform): Spearheaded the creation of 5+ custom, task-based AI Assistants tailored to Litigation functions, with 15+ more in the pipeline for 2026. • Federal District Court Case Hub: Designed and built a dashboard offering a unified view across 2000+ federal district court cases handled by McDermott litigators since 2016, spanning 24 key fields that integrate internal data from Salesforce, Foundation, Aderant, and iManage as well as judge, case, and motion analytics from Lex Machina. Users can sort or use 12 click-to-filter facets for rapid insights. The Case Hub won the Litigation Technology and Innovation category at the 2026 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬 Leaders in Tech Law Awards. • Arbitration + Mediation Data Hub: Led development of an AI-powered platform that transforms unstructured internal referral emails into a structured, searchable resource. Extracting and organizing insights from thousands of emails, the Arbitrator & Mediator Data Hub delivers a curated database of 450+ arbitrator and mediator recommendations, enhancing speed, transparency, and institutional knowledge sharing. • Commercial Litigation Process Map: Conceived and delivered an innovative, workflow-driven litigation resource that converts the traditional federal case lifecycle into an interactive process map. By embedding actionable links to forms, sample documents, and critical resources, the map introduces a more intuitive, technology-enabled approach to litigation management, driving efficiency, standardization, and smarter knowledge utilization.
