Antwerp, Flemish Region, Belgium
I work as a fashion editor for Belgian lifestyle magazine Feeling and as a freelance journalist for other publications with a focus on fashion, culture and travel. My work has been published in titles such as Feeling, Trends Style, Marie Claire, De Standaard Magazine, De Zondag Magazine, Flair, Nieuwsblad, Material Girl, Flanders Today, GLAM*IT and Vice. In 2020, I published Persona Non Prada, co-written by Elspeth Jenkins and illustrated by Wim Bruynooghe. From 2013 until 2023, I worked as a fashion editor for Flair Belgium, reporting on weekly fashion news and supervising editorial shoots. From 2015 to 2021, I wrote a weekly column, which appeared both in print and online. I have a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Literature: English-Latin and Master's degrees in Comparative Modern Literature from Ghent University and Journalism from Lessius University College (now Thomas More). I graduated magna cum laude. In my Master's dissertations, I studied the portrayal of the 1960s in Hunter Thompson's Gonzo Journalism and the relation between his writing and the concept of genre, respectively. I combine freelance journalism with copywriting, both in Dutch and English.
I contributed articles on fashion, culture and art to Flanders Today's website and news weekly.
I edited shopping pages for De Standaard Magazine.
