Leading the academic, administrative and wellbeing functions of Wilam Hall, a residential college of the University of Melbourne, focussed on supporting all student residents to succeed - especially underrepresented cohorts including Indigenous, LGBTQI+, disadvantaged, and rural/regional.
This portfolio role brings together a number of threads spanning academic development, support and innovation related to Education at Melbourne, continued enhancement and innovation in academic mentoring, and strategic advice to the Students and Education leadership team in the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) portfolio. Moving to Student and Scholarly Services, this leadership role continues to support academic development through academic mentoring, while also providing expert advice into the Student Services Transformation Project, focussed on faculty partnerships.
Working collaboratively across the University, this pivotal leadership role is responsible for enabling enhancement, engagement and embedding of academic mentoring to improve the undergraduate student experience and deliver to the Advancing Students and Education strategy.
Leading the university-wide strategic alignment and operational coordination of flagship programs , including peer mentoring, academic advising and co-curricular recognition. Collaborating with stakeholders across the institution and leading a cross-functional team of faculty and central staff to ensure communications, systems, data and infrastructure integrate and support enterprise-wide programs.
