    I worked on the Victoria Dock Portal Project as part of London’s Crossrail project, the largest railway and infrastructure project in Europe. My duties included:  Setting out, levelling and surveying for base slab construction, bulk excavation, temporary propping, headwall construction and capping beam construction.  Carrying out inspection and testing activities between sub-contractor, main contractor and Cross Rail.  Communicating with foremen, trades people and operatives to ensure work is carried out as per relevant method statement and Inspection Test Plan (ITP).  Planning out the different stages of construction so that work is completed before agreed deadlines  Ensuring that all work meets the stipulated quality standards and is within Crossrail tolerances.
