This role involved carrying out legal research and preparing for litigation across areas such as Children's Rights, Social Housing, Social Welfare, Equality Legislation, Environmental Law and Disability Supports. Day to day tasks included preparing briefs to counsel, drafting submissions to Government on policy and assisting in research and administrative duties across all areas of clinical work. Presenting 'Know your Rights' offered a unique challenge, requiring the adaptation of key messages on housing, children's rights, social welfare and education to diverse audiences.
