Karratha, Western Australia, Australia
I am an archaeologist committed to community and conservation based archaeology and heritage management, with extensive experience in the field obtained from a range of conservation, research, management and commercial archaeological projects. Aside from coordinating fieldwork, I have been operating as a GIS Analyst and data management professional for several organizations over the last decade. I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Management through the University of Leicester (UK) and a Masters in GIS and Remote Sensing (Charles Sturt University). I am currently undertaking a PhD through Griffith University in spatial analysis and archaeology. I am very passionate about community-driven heritage and natural resource management. This has led me to work with Aboriginal organizations throughout Western Australia. I hope to continue working in community-driven natural and cultural resource management fields. I am also very passionate about spatial outreach, allowing spatial technology and skills to be accessible for Aboriginal cultural and land management organizations.
