I work with founders and companies to help them navigate a successful employee ownership transition. I draw on over 20 years of corporate transactional work experience alongside implementation of the first employee ownership of a law firm in the UK. Since then I have focused almost exclusively on supporting employee ownership projects across the UK, ranging in size from under 10 employees to over 800, in all sectors including law firms and accountants, retailers and recruiters. I have engagements as independent trustee of three Employee Ownership Trusts, in addition to wider business experience, including non-exec roles at the Eden Project and Eden Geothermal, and Chair of trustees for several charities. I enjoy helping business owners find solutions and opportunities. I firmly believe that business should be fun and that being a solicitor does not mean pinstripe suits, large bills and impenetrable jargon (though I will offer this for premium rates!).
