I’m the current President of Swansea University Students’ Union, following a year as Welsh Affairs Officer. I’m passionate about student voice, Welsh language advocacy, and creating a more inclusive, engaging university experience for all. During my time as Welsh Affairs Officer, I: Launched the Defnyddia Dy Gymraeg campaign, reaching over 45,000 people Organised events celebrating Welsh identity and language, including Diwrnod Shwmae Sumae Introduced Welsh School Subject Reps to strengthen academic representation for Welsh speakers Created informal student support drop-ins to build community and increase wellbeing Represented the university at the Intercollegiate Eisteddfod and other cultural events Now, as President, I’m focused on delivering impactful campaigns, supporting student wellbeing, and ensuring every student’s voice is heard — in both English and Welsh. With a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Media, I have a solid foundation in communication strategy, promotion, and content creation. I specialize in building meaningful relationships, working collaboratively on media projects, and using digital media to tell compelling stories. My passions lie in social media, particularly within the realms of fashion, beauty, and sport—especially in Wales, a culture I am proud to represent. As someone who is constantly eager to learn and grow, I enjoy adapting to new challenges and acquiring new skills. I bring an enthusiastic and confident energy to every project, and I love using my creativity to make an impact. In my current role, I am gaining a deeper appreciation for the richness of Welsh culture and language, which I am proud to celebrate and promote through my work. I’m always looking for opportunities to network, collaborate, and grow within the world of digital media and communication.
