I am passionate about accelerating the global transition to clean energy. With a PhD in Physics and over 15 years in senior leadership at NorSun, I combine deep technical expertise with commercial strategy and policy advocacy. I’ve spearheaded multi-gigawatt expansion projects in Europe and the U.S., contributed to raising funding, and secured multi-billion-dollar long-term offtake agreements. As Co-Chair of the European Solar Manufacturing Council, I actively shape industry policy to strengthen Western PV supply chains. Founding member
NorSun - Norwegian manufacturer of premium silicon ingots and wafers for the solar industry • Initiated NorSun’s multi-gigawatt global expansion strategy • Co-developed 3–5 GW expansion project in Norway, securing a €52.6m EU Innovation Fund grant • Key member of 5 GW U.S. expansion project, strengthening Western PV supply chains • Secured multi-billion-dollar long-term offtake agreements, fully covering planned production capacity for the US expansion
• Developed business models and cost roadmaps; led pricing strategy and benchmarking • Negotiated and managed contracts with customers in USA, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and France • Responsible for customer services, including deliveries and product quality • Advanced low-carbon footprint PV markets through development of methodologies (EPD, EPEAT) and policy influence (EU EcoDesign, French public auctions); founding member of the Ultra Low Carbon Solar Alliance
Climate and Energy: Science and Analysis Division.
