I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East, South America and N. America, developing innovative global supply chain programs and customs compliance solutions for multi million dollar international corporations in various market sectors . Actively consult with clients on their global business needs in the areas of complex supply chain strategy plans of action, order management, customs compliance , EDI systems ,visibility tools, and training. Thoroughly enjoy building confidence in children and young adults ability to communicate with people through interviewing skills , presentations or just socially !! Worked 18 years with APL, 20 years with United Parcel Services ,, and just finished my role , 5 years working at Kuehne Nagel . Acquired extensive exposure to the entire global supply chain utilizing all modes of transportation, FTZ, customs brokerage, trucking, small parcel and visibility tools. Charged with special assignment involving thought leadership and industry vision. Successfully developed the innovative Trade Direct Program with UPS I recognized the industry need to combine the ocean / air business with the UPS international small package program. My visionary plan and framework focused on the consolidation of international small package goods while utilizing multiple modes of transportation in one container. This plan resulted in significant cost reductions, faster delivery with full visibility to the destination, and greater profitability for UPS and our clients. The new Trade Direct innovative program was recognized by the Transportation Industry through my interview in The Journal of Commerce published nationwide resulting in new Trade Direct sales teams, millions in profits, and continues to grow globally to this day. Consulted with top C level global clients at the highest decision maker levels in the consumer, industrial, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and retail sectors. I am proud to have received multiple gold, and silver awards for outstanding performance at all companies every year. I am actively involved as a County Chairperson, Oasis mentor for the underprivileged providing interviewing, networking, and resume training. Guest speaker on international trade at various educational institutions, Chairperson for local Susan G Komen events, programs for NCAA women's lacrosse, and active in many trade organizations.
