• Facilitate the creation of a 1.5 ac. forested outdoor education space and work with volunteers to restore the degraded forest to a thriving ecosystem. Develop and build school edible garden. • Create teaching spaces; develop and deliver forest and garden science curriculum.
This was a short-term deployment with Operation Allies Welcome to assist in the resettlement of Afghans who were part of the Kabul airlift in August 2021. My position included: • Providing services to Afghan guests including intake, case updates, and departure processing • Empowering guests through providing departure and resettlement counseling services throughout their experience at Ft. McCoy, Wisconsin.
